Tulip Garden Rowe School Project

We had such a fun time at Rowe. We had the opportunity to practice how to make an origami tulip and then help our first grade friends how to make one, share our favorite childhood story book, and plant some tulip bulbs. Great weather and a great time!  Thank you to all who helped to make this happen. This will be a treasured memory for sure.

Ascophyllum nodosum studies at Madeline Point

Students went to Madeline Point to collect Ascophyllum data. A bit chilly this day, but the students learned all about how to tell if rock weed is at its reproductive age or not through the guidance of the Signs of the Seasons program from the University of Southern Maine. They learned how to measure the yearly growth, and also how to calculate the age of it. They did a fabulous job!
